At the request of a good friend, I was commissioned to make a piece. The requirements were minimal... make it awesome. The commissioner wanted something nerdy, which left a lot of room for interpretation. We decided on doing the iconic thumb and word's "don't panic" from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
It is the first time I have done words and not just letters. I wanted the words to pop and not be overwhelmed with the quilling pieces. I went with making the words a fun color and doing the background all in white. I think it turned out well!
